Bhagat Singh: history and tradition

Bhagat Singh helped establish the Naujawan Bharat Sabha. He took part in the killing of police officer John Saunders, mistaken for the intended target. After an Assembly bombing, Singh and Batukeshwar Dutt remained to be arrested. His prison writings and protests became part of his legacy before his execution in 1931.
